It was not the Windows 7 OS software as I did a fresh install on a new HD with no other programs installed and did not allow it update, it did it immediately. I’ve got about 20 nic cards lying around, I guess I can give a couple more a shot and see what happens. CC, I’ve tried other nic cards as well as wireless ones Cisco, net gear and while the Cisco worked for about 15 minutes I got the same results. Sometimes it works and I can see my two hd, other times I have to reboot, go into bios make no changes , exit and it works again. Cancel all operating system attempts to install the driver automatically.

Found a bad link? So reducing the speed or playing with the modem settings and or trying to playing with flow control are possible stabs in the dark. Set at Mbps – will not connect. To yukkon the driver, you must be logged in as a user with administrative rights. I’ve got a 50MBps download right now so I’d prefer not to drop it down to 10 if I don’t have to but I’ll for sure try that.
I got the newest driver and installed I’ll go and fie up one of marcell XP machines and run it through the same old Billion modem to see if the problem presents it self; the old XP machine worked without issue when I last tested it via the old Billion modem.
I like you have tried new drivers, old drivers, disabling IP V6, new cat leads, so on and so on and so on. If you should encounter any problems with your driver installation package, please re-read the instructions above and the documentation supplied with the operating system marvell.

Iamevil, The Nic on this board is not the best although are used on many other mobo’s with success. I’ve got 2 macs that stay connected without issue and 2 other PCs that stay connected as well. The machine was basically as it was from day one when it ran without issue.
